EOS 7D Mark II AF-Setting Guidebook

Canon engineers and product planners from Canon, Inc. in Japan have recently introduced a detailed guidebook with great insight and detail into the AF features, functionality, and possibilities within the EOS 7D Mark II camera.  Similar in scope to the previous guidebook on the EOS-1D X’s AF system, this 51-page document is rich in descriptions, visual examples, and most importantly suggestions for different types of scenarios and subjects.

While many of the AF features, such as the AI Servo AF settings, are similar to those in the previously-introduced EOS 5D Mark III and EOS-1D X cameras, this document also goes into considerable detail about using additional EOS 7D Mark II features, such as the camera’s extensive Custom Controls for quick access to different AF features, and even describes totally new features like its Anti-flicker shooting function.

Canon USA has revised this guidebook to make the original English-language text easier to understand and hopefully for EOS 7D Mark II users to put into practice.  And even for those who don’t own an EOS 7D Mark II, we hope this guidebook provides insight into how an advanced camera such as this can bring new possibilities into your photography — whether you shoot action-type subjects, or any other type of subject matter.  We hope you enjoy this collaborative effort.

The CDLC contributors are compensated spokespersons and actual users of the Canon products that they promote.
