Look up tables (LUTs) for converting Canon Log footage from the EOS C300 and EOS C300 PL cameras are now available for download.
The EOS C300 and EOS C300 PL both offer Canon Log Gamma (read more about Canon Log here), which enables neutral image quality with subdued contrast and sharpness for a wider dynamic range. This allows for more image information to be retained for color correction and visual effects, hence greater freedom in post-production and color grading.
The EOS C300/C300 PL Canon Log LUTs are available in three different versions:
1) Converting from Canon Log Gamma to Video gamma (CanonLog10ToVideo_ver1.0.csv)
2) Converting from Canon Log Gamma to Cineon gamma (CanonLog10ToCineon10LUT_ver1.0.csv)
3) Converting from Canon Log Gamma to Rec.709 gamma (CanonLog10ToRec709_ver1.0.csv)
