Clay Blackmore is one of the most passionate professional photographers in the country today and a true innovator in the world of wedding photography and portraiture. Working out of Washington, DC, Clay's style blends the beauty and timelessness of classical portraiture with spontaneity and appeal of photojournalism. Clay's portraits are simple, direct, yet make powerful statements.

A celebrity and society favorite, Blackmore's client's include such luminaries as Larry King, Forrest Whitaker, Jenna Elfman, and Maria Sharapova, and corporate entities as diverse as the PGA and USGA to political inaugural balls (Blackmore's team photographed more than 19 such events in 2001 alone).

One of only a few Canon Explorers of Light, Blackmore lectures all over the world and was selected for the first satellite broadcast of Wedding 2000. A star of his own show on ZugaPhoto TV he teaches and creates the wedding portrait programs for Disney photographics.

Clay's latest efforts with his Canon Digital IR camera are imaginative and aesthetic with moody skies and misty mountains, created in and around the rain forest on the island of Nevis, BWI. Blackmore is currently creating a coffee table book of Extraordinary Women and their Fantasies revealed, and he currently retains membership in the elite Cameracraftsmen of America and a Board position in the international Hall of Fame of photography.
