Darrell Gulin was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and earned a Business degree from the University of Washington.
Gulin has been photographing for over 23 years and has been actively marketing his work over the last 21 years. For the past 14 years he has worked as a full time Nature Photographer, marketing his work through: editorial markets, stock agencies, workshops as well as seminars. Gulin's work has been showcased in almost every major nature calendar including: Audubon, Sierra Club, Kodak, Browntrout, Cedco, Nature Conservancy, Greenpeace, Day Dream and Inner Reflections. Gulin is a Past President of the North American Nature Photography Association and is a member of Canon's Explorer of Light program.
An accomplished speaker/teacher whose credits include: Lepp & Associates, Southwest Michigan Council of Camera Club, New England Council Camera Clubs, FOTOfusion, and five Canon Photo Safari television programs. Gulin teaches at workshops held through Popular Photography / Joe Van Os and Palm Beach Photographic Workshops.
