Jack Reznicki is one of the best-known and most respected people photographers in the country. Born in Israel, the son of concentration camp survivors, Jack moved to the US when he was five years old and grew up mostly in Rochester, NY. A 1976 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, he opened his New York City studio in 1980. His creative problem solving has helped promote products and services for many companies such as Tylenol, The Wall Street Journal, Hyatt, Toys "R" Us, Reader's Digest, Crest, AT&T, Playtex, and several Time Magazine covers.

Jack's insights to professional photography can be found every month in Petersen's Photographic magazine with his popular "Pro Vision" column. His insightful articles also appear in PEI (Photo Electronic Imaging) and Professional Photographer magazine.

Believing that photographers should be pro-active in the photo community, he has been very busy in that community. Jack is currently a Board Member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA). In the past Jack has served as President of the New York chapter of Advertising Photographers of America (APA), sat on the Joint Ethics Committee in New York, and served as Board Member of ASMP/NY.

Along with many other awards, Jack was very proud to receive the 1999 IPC (International Photographic Council) Leadership medal for "Excellence in Studio Photography" at the United Nations.

He also founded and runs the Photo News Network (PNN) on the Internet. PNN is home to the very popular Photo Forums: PhotoPro, PhotoTech, PhotoDigital, and PhotoWed. These Forums are a wonderful resource where pros come to interact and exchange ideas and tips about photography.
